Brownsworth Application Form
DRIVER
Brownsworth is seeking EXPERIENCED DRIVERS to join our team. You would help load office furniture, equipment and supplies onto various straight trucks (largest is 24 foot = under 26,000 lbs) and drive to job sites, run routes between accounts and haul away packing materials and equipment throughout the twin cities metro area. Our drivers also join our crew to install office cubicles and work stations. This is a great opportunity for variety and the opportunity to learn additional job skills. When driving for the day, you would start and end work at our Plymouth offices. When installing, you would be dispatched from your home, directly to the work site.
No previous install experience required, but previous Construction, Commercial Moving or Carpentry experience a plus! Pay is negotiable and based on experience. We offer advancement opportunities and benefits including medical, dental, Life, 401k, vacation and holiday pay. We pay TIME AND A HALF for any work past 8 hours a day, any work performed after 4:30 and any work on Sat. or Sunday. Most work is in the metro and you can expect to be home for dinner.
To qualify, you must possess valid CDL, your own tools, reliable transportation to job sites over entire metro, ability to lift up to 60lbs independently and the ability to pass FULL criminal background check.. INSTALLERS-Commercial Office Furniture
Do you like variety, staying physically active, working with tools and teamwork? If so, we would like to hear from you!
Brownsworth has been providing office furniture installation services since 1971. We are hiring for entry level INSTALLERS for Full and Part-Time openings to reconfigure office furniture and work stations/cubicles through out the metro. Most work is M-F during the day with evening (4:30-10pm) and Weekend work paying a minimum of $18.00 per hour!
We offer on the job training and a clearly defined career path and growth potential for the right candidates. Lead, Foreman and Driver positions also available for experienced candidates. Our BENEFITS include: medical, dental, Life, 401k, vacation and holiday pay, PLUS we pay time and a half for any hours past * hours a day!
Previous office furniture installation preferred, but not required. Carpentry experience or commercial/residential moving experience a plus. You must have your own tools, a valid driving license, reliable transportation, ability to lift up to 60lbs independently and the ability to pass FULL criminal background check.
Occasional (paid) meetings at our Plymouth office will be required. Hourly wage starts at $12.00. Higher Pay is negotiable for experienced Office Furniture Installers.

Southwest Twin Cities Beyond the Yellow Ribbon Coalition includes the cities of Edina, Hopkins, Minnetonka and St. Louis Park. Beyond the Yellow Ribbon is a comprehensive program that creates awareness for the purpose of connecting service members and their families with community support.

Southwest Twin Cities Beyond the Yellow Ribbon is a group of community volunteers coming together to try to build a cooperative of communities who qualify as Beyond The Yellow Ribbon Communities. Visit About Us to find out more.

Our Impact

  • Arranged with 2nd Wind to donate a stationary bike to a veteran for rehab in Edina
  • We provided a wheelchair to a veteran during rehab in Hopkins
  • We helped a female veteran who had been living in her car to find an apartment Edina. And she now has a SNAP card to buy food.
  • We helped to move a hospital bed from a home in Wayzata to the apartment of a veteran in St. Paul.
  • We helped to provide a walker to a veterans' spouse in Hopkins.
